June Baptism opportunities – If you are ready to take a next step in your faith, Central is offering open baptism opportunities each weekend in June, continuing this weekend, after the Saturday 6:00 pm services and Sunday 11:45 am services.

Summer @ Central – Get out of the heat and cool off at Summer @ Central. Begins July 5 & 6.

Financially Free - An exciting class each Saturday at 4:30 pm in room 203 that assists anyone who desires to experience financial freedom. Topics will vary each Saturday and will include teaching and discussion about debt reduction, budgeting, and God’s plan for our finances. Registration is not required – just show up.

Kidz Kamp – For kidz entering grades 4 & 5 in the ’08-’09 school year. July 7-11 in Big Bear, CA. Cost is $369 per child now through this Sunday, June 22. After that, cost increases to $389. A $75 non-refundable deposit holds your spot.

Ignite Summer Experience – For students entering grades 6-12 in the ’08-’09 school year, and the class of 2008. This Monday, June 23 – Friday, June 27 in Los Angeles, CA. Late registration cost is now $449.

LifePath Live Summer 2008 Courses – Include: BE: Summer Small Group Leader Nights, Marriage Restoration Weekend, and Financially Free. Childcare available with registration.

Barista (Part-time, two42 cafe & bookstore) – As the primary contact with customers at the two42 cafe & bookstore, the Barista provides exceptional service along with serving beverages/food and assisting with resources (books, CDs). Baristas embrace the mission of cultivating a Christ-like community within the two42 cafe & bookstore.

Pre-school Ministry Alcove Coordinator (Part-time, Family Ministries) - We’re looking for an organized person with a heart for kids and volunteers to coordinate all aspects of an alcove in The Preschool Ministry. Associate Director of two42 café (full-time, two42 café, bookstore & catering)
Our two42 café is seeking a leader with a servant’s heart to oversee all aspects of the food and beverage of the two42 café. Key responsibilities include inventory maintenance, staff and volunteer supervision, event consultation, and development of new initiatives in the two42. Food and beverage preparation, customer service, inventory management, as well as staff &/or volunteer supervision experience required. College degree in management or food and beverage preferred. Celebrate Recovery:

God used Celebrate Recovery here at Central to teach me who he really is. I used to think God left me, was never there for me, and wanted to bring suffering into my life. I realize now after going through the recovery process that he had a purpose for my life all along. All those difficult moments in my life became teachable moments, not punishments from God. He helped me overcome all of it!! I am no longer a victim of abuse, but a survivor! In fact, I even rededicated my life to him and was baptized. Now, I have a whole new life ahead of me.

Celebrate Recovery is a community of Small Groups where real life change occurs through the use of time-tested principles based on the teachings of Jesus Christ. Join us each week on Fridays for BBQ at 6:00 pm followed by worship, teaching, and personal stories of recovery at 7:00 pm and Small Group interaction at 8:00 pm. Childcare is available.
