The Twelve "Whadayaknow's" of Central Kidz

There are only 260 weekends in a child’s life from first grade until they leave our ministry at the end of fifth grade. That’s 260 opportunities to impact their lives for Christ. Time is short, so focus is essential. We want kids to leave our ministry knowing these twelve truths, because they lay a foundation in kids’ lives for a lifetime of following God! Here is what kids walk away knowing;

1. Jesus is the only way to heaven (salvation).
2. God loves me (acceptance).
3. I was made to worship God (worship).
4. Jesus wants to be my best friend (growing in your relationship with God).
5. Jesus wants me to follow Him (obedience).
6. The Bible is God’s Word and I can trust it completely (absolute truth).
7. God has a special plan for my life (purpose).
8. God wants me to love and respect others (relationships).
9. God wants me to serve others (service).
10. God wants me to make wise choices (wisdom).
11. God wants me to share my faith with others (outreach).
12. God can use me to change the world (leadership).

After the large group experience, children move into Small Groups. Here, a small group of six to eight children meet each week, with the same leader. Each Small Group is led by a caring adult who has been approved and trained by the Central Kidz staff. Small Group time is filled with fun activities, crafts, prayer, and a personal, one-on-one discussion of the teaching truth of the day. It’s in Small Groups that life change takes place and friendships are formed that will last a lifetime.
