Q: What type of attire can I expect to see at Central?
A: Central is a "come as you are" kind of church. You'll find a warm, casual and welcoming environment where an array of dress styles can be found. We want you to feel comfortable in whatever you choose to wear and focus instead on the message of Christ's love for you.
Q: Do you have services for my children and teens?
A: Children and students best learn spiritual truth in ways appropriate and relevant to their age and stage in life. We design services for all age groups, from birth through High School, simultaneous to each of our weekend and Wednesday evening services. For more information, please click on Preschool, Elementary, Junior High, or High School.
Q: What’s First Wednesday?
A: On the First Wednesday of every month at 6:30 pm, all Central Christian Church attendees gather at the Henderson campus for a night of worship, communion, and celebration of what God is doing through both our locations. It’s “where it all comes together.”
Q: Will the Summerlin campus stay in a school forever?
A: No. We are forming an “exit strategy” team that is seeking land and/or buildings that will be purchased to provide a permanent home for the Summerlin campus. For now, we are very grateful to Palo Verde High School for allowing us to use their facilities!
Q: Does each Central campus have its own financial system?
A: We are one church, with one budget – we just meet in two locations. The finance team oversees the finances for the all the Regional Sites. The goal is for each Regional Site to bring in enough funds through their offerings to cover their operational costs.
Q: Will Jud Wilhite and Mike Bodine continue to serve as the Senior Leadership for both the Henderson and Summerlin campuses?
A: Yes, Jud and Mike will be the Senior Leadership for each regional campus. Central will continue to be one church, in two locations.
